For as long as I can remember, people have asked my father what fragrance he was wearing.
The answer was never simple. He was blending his own perfumes, creating compositions that existed only in his private collection.
For years, I asked him to share his creations. Eventually, he trusted me to bring them into the world.
That is where SHOGEN began.
I started exploring his archive: years of experimentation, unexpected combinations, and scents he had kept to himself. Today, we work together with the laboratory to recreate them. A fragrance is released only when it matches his original exactly, however long that takes.
Each fragrance carries its own aura: a distinctive presence, an individual character, a story that unfolds on the skin. The collection will take you on an odyssey around the world, evoking some of its most extraordinary places through scent.
We produce only in small batches, preserving the personal nature of what we do. His private collection will be revealed gradually, one fragrance at a time.
